Lhasa Airport also known as Gonggar airport

There are a great deal of hotels or motels nearby, such as Gonggar Airport Hotel, creadit card is not available there.
Way to get there:
You can take a bus at the station at the N.O 17 on the south road of Robulinka (a famous street in Lhasa) ,it will cost you 2 $(15 RMB) . If you’re in hurry ,you can take a taxi , it's not expensive neither .The cost of taking taxi is not fixed , 3$~ 7$ .
Something to do:
If the airplane is taking off in an hour later ,you have got enough time to have a walk around the Brahmaputra river at Gonggar county . It may shock you ,or may not be surprising.

Tibet was well-known as "Forbidden Zone" as far as aviation was available because of its high altitude and its towering mountain ranges. But this “taboo” was broken , you can imagine that it was not an easy thing on account of its unique condition , the Tibetan Plateau, . So that’s why I firstly introduced you the following place , the gonggar airport .As for how it was constructed ? You will be not interested in it , it’s a topic related to the history and politcs . In fact I’m not aware of it clearly.
